Scary times
What happens now?I have researched and researched the idea of moving and it all falls down to - income and house purchase. Aile has patiently calculated joint income to show it is feasible, but the jobs in North ceredigion are not showing rather high salaries at present. In the meantime, I try to learn PRINCE and the Welsh language slowly but surely. The grand plan comes to light - sell up Northampton, England - move back to Aberystwyth, Wales. For this to work, we have to be comfortable in a house of similar size. It may need financing via the redundancy yet...
Bottom line, it feels so right. Quality of life and oh, to be by the sea again. I have yet to push the button, but it's soming soon. My stress I suppose, now accentuates the frustrations of work and I loathe going there. Time to change.
My writing has suffered - a few short stories and a couple of chapters recently, no more. I have not heard frm the publisher. Try and forget. How do you do that when it's your ambitions that are at stake? I certainly will let them know if I move, it may help, but then again...
So, learn, calculate, redecorate, job-hunt,write and try to keep calm. The last one's the most difficult!
