An empty sheet
I have not written a word since the plan to quit the job and sell up took effect. Too much going on in my head. Not even visiting my clubs at present. The house is just one big building site and it feels like a never ending journey. We have managed to redecorate the kitchen and small bathroom. That just leaves hall, living room, dining room, 3 bedrooms, bannister, utility room - and clear the mess out of the garage created by moving the clutter of the house.Meanwhile, my current character is stuck in the hills near Talybont, not sure whether to go and see relatives or get a lift on a train. It's a bit cold up there at times, as cold as his love in Aberystwyth. Life, eh!
One thing definite. I have been formally told I'm leaving work on 31st March. No turning back. Just as the world predicts a gloomy recession and falling house prices.
